
Hi, I’m Claire, and the founder of Blue Minds Therapy. My journey into working in mental health started in 2017 and since then I have continued to grow and expand my experience through a variety of fields such as inpatient secondary care, neurodiversity service and NHS talking therapies.
My own experiences with mental health have helped me shape the way I work with authenticity, empathy, and warmth. I believe therapy should feel safe and human, not clinical or intimidating. I know taking that first step can be daunting, so I focus on creating a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported every step of the way.

I feel its always important for you to know exactly who your therapist is. At the end of the day we're complete strangers so meeting one for the first time can be scary so here's a little more about me to break the ice!
Likes: concerts/festivals, animals/pets (they are always welcome in the therapy space), reading, sports, video games and films.
Dislikes: spiders, olives and lumpy food.

Talking about your thoughts and feelings is hard! Believe me I know. I create a space adapted to you to allow you to build that trust and get what you need from a therapist. My first session is all about getting to know each other and understand what it is you truly need. My aim in therapy is always to built a partnership as in that therapy room there are two experts. You, the client, who is an expert in themselves and Me, the CBT therapist, who can provide my expertise in the field to help you. Together we can create a strong team to challenge and work through any issues you may be facing
